Nevertheless, if you are covered under New York automobile insurance, you can take the vehicle on rent anywhere in the US or Canada for up to 30 days. You do not have to purchase CDW. You are automatically covered under that kind of policy automatically under your existing policy. New York automobile insurance is easy to obtain and hence get it for your safety.
